Welcome to EWOMS-9

29th – 31st August 2018

We are pleased to invite you at the 9th European Working Memory Symposium (EWOMS-9) at the University of Pavia, Italy.

EWOMS is a regular satellite meeting of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCOP) and is dedicated to the most up-to-date research in the field of working memory, by both European and non-European experts in the field.

The topic of EWOMS-9 will be “Working Memory and Learning”.

The number of attendees is limited to 60 participants in order to foster scientific exchanges and discussions.

We are pleased to announce Cesare Cornoldi (University of Padova) as invited keynote speaker.

On Wednesday we will welcome you with delicious Italian finger food, local wines and cocktails. On Thursday afternoon there will be a guided city tour to discover the historical treasures of Pavia. The social dinner will be on Thursday evening. It will be a culinary voyage through Italy and Pavia, starting with different delicious appetizers, Italian risotto, a tasty main dish, and concluding with a fine dessert. All dishes will be accompanied by local wine, drinks and by live music.
